chips do come off, there is a good chance that children within a year old might

because they are usually good at maintaining insulation even in cold weathers.
The only disadvantage would be that these items might last a bit shorter than
metal or plastic since moisture from the outside could easily seep in. But
whatever the material is, it does not erase the fact that having such in your
own backyard can really make a difference in your outdoor adventures.
