Outdoor Play Sets

An Outdoor Play Sets are a structure, which is erected outside to enable playing on and around for children. Towers, bridges, ladders, sandboxes, slides, swings and monkey bars comprise the typical components of an outdoor play set.  A major component of an outdoor play set is a tower. It is a vertical structure, having one or more decks, placed at different levels. A deck is basically a horizontal play surface, which is either contained within or attached to a tower.  Bridges act as connectors between different towers to enable children to walk through them. A swing is a hanging seat, which is used for entertainment purposes. It is quite popular in playgrounds, homes and circuses.  Children love to play with swings installed in playgrounds. Acrobats use swings for performing stunts in circuses. It is also used in homes as an item of Wooden Swing Sets .  The seat of a swing is usually suspended from chains or ropes. A swing sets itself in oscillating motion like that of a pendulum, until external interference or force brings it to a halt.  A number of swings are hung very often from the same metal or wooden frame on playgrounds, which is called a swing set.
